THRU-TUBING INFLATABLE PERMANENT BRIDGE PLUG

The thru-tubing permanent inflatable bridge plug provides a means of permanently plugging off the bottom of a well without pulling the production tubing or killing the upper producing zones. The bridge plug seals off the well with a high expansion inflatable element that can pass through the production tubing and seal off in the casing below. The inflatable element can be set in most ID's including blank pipe, perforations, slotted liners, sand screens, and openhole. Applications for the thru-tubing inflatable permanent bridge plug may include permanent lower zone shutoff or permanent well abandonments.
